Our private tour of the Golan will begin with a brief overview of the history of Israel, with an emphasis on its geopolitical military significance as a crossroads of Empires.
On our way up to the north of Israel , we will travel past Meggido (Armageddon) and stop in the Upper Galilee for a breath taking panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights.

We will then continue our private tour farther up north to the Banias River, which is one of the sources of the Jordan River, and to the ancient city Caesarea Phillippi, where we’ll be able to see historical remains of all the religions who’s past through it over the centuries, all around us.
Next, we will travel up to the Golan, and visit the extinct volcano crater lake of Birkat Ram, after which we will continue to the old Israel Defense Force post on Mount Bental, with its intricate trenches and fortified buildings, which overlook the stunning views of the Golan Heights. In addition, while hearing the recount of the Battle of the Valley of Tears, we will also be able to look over Israel’s border into the Syrian town Kuneitra, and also see minefields and anti tank trenches.

As a benefit of having a private tour, you will then be given a choice between stopping at an exclusive chocolate shop, a winery and a micro brewery on the way to the Talmudic village of Katzrin.
The final stop on our private tour of the Golan, will be at the Gadot observation point, which overlooks the Hula Valley, the Upper Galilee and Lebanon.
